Yesterday I was sick, but today I began my odyssey into the peer pressure reading group. I read:
Donald A. Levin. 2000. The recurrent origin of plant races and species. Systematic Botany 26:197–204. That's 7 pages, ya'll.
To sum up: "There are no necessary reasons why ecologically distinct races and species could not arise from separate lineages at different times and in different places." I agree.
