Reading for my project....

"...conclude that a neutral model is the most adequate null model for transcriptome evolution. This suggests that the majority of gene expression differences within and between species are not functional adaptations, but selectively neutral or nearly neutral."

Why would you choose humans for this? Human brains. Is it because you want to have problems with low sample sizes, unknown environmental contributions and post mortem changes? Or maybe because you're a zombie.
